Christina Rodriguez
OUR FOUNDER
Christina Rodriguez brings blockchain education to the broader STEAM education community as an experienced Web 3 educator and international advocate for girls in STEAM.
As an artist and educator, Christina has educated artists, women executives, and public figures regarding digital identity through social media. In addition to her industry experience, she has extensive knowledge of web 2 and web3.
Author of the #Metaverse #Web3 Glossary Book and Metaverse Maven: Learn How to Thrive in The New Digital Economy on Amazon. Providing communities with inspiring, empowering, and uplifting content.
Christina holds a certification from the Blockchain Council as a certified Metaverse Expert.
She is also the founder and editor of Beauté in Tech magazine the destination for all things tech, with a female focus. Podcast host of The Fit Beaute Report podcast heard in over 25 countries all over the world and ranked #130 in the tech news category on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
As she travels the world to meet industry leaders in blockchain and cover tech events, her research interest is informal STEAM learning communities for Black and Brown middle school girls.
She is committed to creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce by preparing girls of color for future STEAM studies and careers.
Diana Sparacin
PRESIDENT
Diana is the Founder and CEO of Techluminous Women, a women-led mentoring and technical consulting practice that addresses the historically high attrition rates of diverse female talent in STEM fields. Techluminous Women provides mentoring, career development workshops, and a podcast featuring women in STEM fields and their daily impact on their customers, organizations, and communities. Diana has over 35 years of broad experience envisioning, defining, and delivering comprehensive solutions and services for the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. As a founding member and past VP of DFW*ATW, Diana is passionate about positioning, growing, and strengthening the pipeline of women in STEAM-based fields. Diana also serves as Secretary for the Texas Flute Society. She holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University and is a U.S. Patent holder.
Tarlon Khoubyari
VICE PRESIDENT
Tarlon is 2x founder passionate about working with early staged companies.
Her efforts have led her to grow Boss Business Market , a full-service digital marketing agency that specializes in brand development and social media strategy. Where she led over 40 global contractors to support clients from a range of industries such as news + media, politics, and multi-million dollar tech companies.
She also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of InfinityCareeers, an ed-tech platform where brands are turned into universities to provide people with unique pathways to pursue careers in tech.
Tarlon is committed to helping brands and organizations reach their audience through thoughtful storytelling and real impact.
Andrea Sharpless
SECRETARY
Andrea is Enterprise Architecture Advisor for NTT Data Services. She has a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and 20 years of experience in software engineering. She has an interest in solving complex business problems with technology which lead her to an interest in quantum computing. All opinions are her own.
Belinda Guzman
OUTREACH SPECIALIST
Belinda is a Scrum Master, Founder Beyond Great Coaching.
A dedicated advocate for children and families in Houston, Belinda has extensive experience advocating for children and families. Belinda serves as a Program Coordinator in the non-profit sector. She brings a unique perspective to the Pretty Smart mission as a young working mom and graduates from the University of Houston. Having a passion for developing others and helping them to become more successful in their careers is Belinda’s greatest passion.
Alexandra Onefrey
MEMBER AT LARGE
As a recent transplant to Houston from the midwest I have always had a passion for community service and outreach. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. I am a proud dog mom to my two mutts, enjoy fitness, traveling and meeting new people. I have a background in accounting and finance but have recently transitioned to a new career in cybersecurity. I look forward to being involved in the Pretty Smart mission and helping introduce more girls to STEM.
